Flightpath is a New York-based digital creative agency. Founded in 1994, Flightpath has worked with clients such as Goya Foods, Sherwin-Williams, Showtime, BMW and Newsday. Flightpath has taken home honors from the Interactive Media Awards, iMedia Awards, W3 Awards and the WebAwards for their client work. History Flightpath was founded in 1994 by Jon Fox as X Communications, NYC Inc. in the early era of internet service and technology. The company focused primarily on website production for clients. In 2000, the company was renamed Xworld, and creative director Steven Louie joined the company as principal. Xworld was a website production agency from 2000 to 2007, when it transitioned to a full service digital agency under the name Flightpath. Goya Foods, Inc. is an American producer of a brand of foods sold in the United States and many Spanish-speaking countries. It has facilities in the United States, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Spain. It is under third-generation ownership of the Spanish-American Unanue family, and is headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey. History Goya Foods was founded in 1933 (some sources claim 1936), by Prudencio Unanue Ortiz (1886–1976) from Valle de Mena, Spain. Prudencio immigrated to Puerto Rico, where he met and married Carolina Casal (1890–1984), also a Spanish immigrant; they later moved to New York City. The family had originally opened a small store called "Unanue and Sons" in 1922; however, it was converted to wholesale in the mid 1930s. Flatiron District
The Flatiron District is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Manhattan, named after the Flatiron Building at 23rd Street, Broadway and Fifth Avenue. Generally, the Flatiron District is bounded by 14th Street, Union Square and Greenwich Village to the south; the Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue) and Chelsea to the west; 23rd Street and Madison Square (or NoMad) to the north; and Park Avenue South and Gramercy Park to the east. Broadway cuts through the middle of the district, and Madison Avenue begins at 23rd Street and runs north. At the north (uptown) end of the district is Madison Square Park, which was completely renovated in 2001.
