''Eyes Like the Sky'' is the second studio album by Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. It was released on 22 February 2013 on the label Flightless. Described as a "cult western audio book", the album is narrated and written by Broderick Smith, the frontman for the 1970s Australian rock group The Dingoes and the father of King Gizzard keyboardist Ambrose Kenny Smith. The story revolves around child soldiers, native Americans and gun fights, all set in the American frontier. When asked about the album's influences, Stu Mackenzie alluded to the spaghetti western influence throughout the album, stating "I love Western films. ''12 Bar Bruise'' is the debut studio album by Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. It was released on 7 September 2012 on Flightless. It peaked at No. 14 on the ARIA Albums Chart after being released on vinyl in November 2018. Altın Gün
Altın Gün (meaning ''Golden Day'' in Turkish) is a Turkish psychedelic rock, also known as Anatolian rock, band from Amsterdam, Netherlands. It was founded by bassist Jasper Verhulst in 2016 when he posted an ad on Facebook looking for Turkish musicians. Their style has been described as "psychedelic" with a "dirty blend of funk rhythms, wah-wah guitars and analogue organs". Altın Gün also performs psychedelic rock covers of Turkish folk music. Kikagaku Moyo
were a Japanese psychedelic band founded in Tokyo. The band's name translates to "geometric patterns." Name Kikagaku Moyo (in Japanese Kanji 幾何学模様, transliterated ''Kikagaku Moyō'') translates to “geometric patterns”, which the drummer Go Kurosawa suggested as a band name after getting visuals caused by sleep deprivation during a long jam session at night. Mild High Club
Mild High Club is an American psychedelic pop group, led by the musician Alexander Brettin. History Brettin grew up in the Midwest, playing flute in his school band. He majored in jazz studies at Columbia College in Chicago, and started Mild High Club in 2013. Brettin worked on Mild High Club's first album, ''Timeline'', for almost three years until its release in 2015. His sophomore LP, ''Skiptracing'', was released in 2016. Pitchfork reviewed the album, stating ''Skiptracing'' is an improvement from ''Timeline'', where "a more confident artist emerges with a fuller vision and voice."
