Fletcher Cup
The Fletcher Cup (known as the Ultra Southern Football Division One for sponsorship reasons, and formerly also called the FootballSouth Championship) is a New Zealand association football league competition administered bSouthern Footballinvolving clubs from the lower half of the South Island of New Zealand. All seven of the teams in the competition in 2023 with the exception of Mosgiel AFC — are from Dunedin, with several of them being second teams from clubs in higher divisions. The league sits at level 4 of the New Zealand football pyramid. The winner of each season's league, if eligible, enters a playoff series with the winners of the Donald Gray Memorial Cup (Southland) and South Canterbury Division 1 (South Canterbury) for promotion into the Southern Premier League. Oceania Football Confederation
The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) is one of the six continental confederations of international association football. The OFC has 13 members, 11 of which are full members and two which are associate members not affiliated with FIFA. It promotes the game in Oceania and allows the List of men's national association football teams#OFC (Oceania), member nations to qualify for the FIFA World Cup. Ocean Grove, New Zealand
Ocean Grove, also known as Tomahawk, is a suburb in the southeast of the New Zealand city of Dunedin. Kaikorai Valley
Kaikorai Valley is a long broad valley which runs through the west of the New Zealand city of Dunedin, to the west of the city centre. It is the valley of a small stream, the Kaikorai Stream, which runs from northeast to southwest down the length of the valley. The valley provides a route into central Dunedin (Kaikorai Valley Road) which avoids the steep climb and descent over Lookout Point into Caversham, instead allowing for a gradual climb to the top of Stuart Street at Roslyn before a steep drop into the heart of the city. The valley contains several suburbs, largely isolated from the city centre by the ridge which forms the valley's eastern edge. Logan Park is a sporting venue in the city of Dunedin, New Zealand. It lies on land reclaimed from the former Lake Logan. Otago University AFC is a semi-professional association football club in Dunedin, New Zealand. The Men's First team competes in the Southern Premier League and has previously competed in the Southern League. The Women's First Team competes in the Women's South Island League. North East Valley (sometimes spelt Northeast Valley, and often abbreviated to NEV) is a suburb of the New Zealand city of Dunedin. Geography North East Valley sits in the valley of the Lindsay Creek, a tributary of the Water of Leith and on the flanking slopes of Pine Hill and Signal Hill, to the northeast of the city centre. Northern AFC
Founded in 1888 Northern AFC is the oldest continually operating football club in the Southern Hemisphere. Based in North Dunedin, the club has 12 Senior teams playing in the Football South Federation region. The club also has a Junior football club with teams from 6th grade to Youth grade playing in the local Dunedin competitions. Mosgiel
Mosgiel (Māori: ''Te Konika o te Matamata'') is an urban satellite of Dunedin in Otago, New Zealand, fifteen kilometres west of the city's centre. Since the re-organisation of New Zealand local government in 1989 it has been inside the Dunedin City Council area. Mosgiel has a population of approximately as of .
