Fletcher Baker
Fletcher Baker (born 26 December 1999) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a forward for the Sydney Roosters in the National Rugby League. Background Baker played his junior rugby league for the Muswellbrook Rams. Before making his first grade debut for the Sydney Roosters, he played for the club's feeder side North Sydney in the NSW Cup. Career 2021 In round 2 of the 2021 NRL season, Baker made his NRL debut against the Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium and scored a try in a 40–6 victory. Baker played a total of 16 games for the Sydney Roosters in the 2021 NRL season including the club's two finals matches. Muswellbrook, New South Wales
Muswellbrook ( ) is a town in the Upper Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia, about north of Sydney and north-west of Newcastle. Geologically, Muswellbrook is situated in the northern parts of the Sydney basin, bordering the New England region. Campbelltown Stadium, formerly Orana Park and Campbelltown Sports Ground, is a multi-use stadium in Leumeah, New South Wales, Australia, owned by Campbelltown City Council. It is the home ground of the Western Suburbs Magpies and the Wests Tigers rugby league clubs. The stadium has a nominal capacity of 18,000, with a recorded highest crowd figure of 20,527 for a game between Wests Tigers and North Queensland Cowboys in the 2005 NRL season. Wests Tigers
The Wests Tigers are an Australian professional Rugby league, rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. They have competed in the National Rugby League since being formed at the end of the 1999 NRL season as a joint-venture club between the Balmain Tigers and the Western Suburbs Magpies. The Wests Tigers started playing in the 2000 NRL season and they won their maiden premiership in 2005 NRL season, 2005. It is one of only two clubs (the other being the Newcastle Knights) that has never lost a Grand Final in which it has participated. The NSW Cup, currently known as the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a rugby league competition for clubs in New South Wales. The competition has a history dating back to the NSWRFL's origins in 1908, starting off as a reserve grade competition, and is now the premier open age competition in the state.
