Flesh Coffin
''Flesh Coffin'' is the second studio album by American deathcore band Lorna Shore. It was released on February 17, 2017 through Outerloop Records, their only album with the label. The album was self-produced by the band along with Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland. It is the last album to feature founding bassist Gary Herrera, vocalist Tom Barber and rhythm guitarist Connor Deffley. Critical reception The album received mostly positive reviews from critics. Joe Smith-Engelhardt of ''Exclaim!'' gave it 6 out of 10 and said: "As a whole, ''Flesh Coffin'' has a very dynamic sound, but it's sullied slightly by a surplus of filler. The moments when the band show their vast range of talent are constantly being overshadowed by the never-ending blur of aggression that leaves the listener wondering where each song begins and ends." Lorna Shore
Lorna Shore is an American deathcore band formed in New Jersey in 2009. The group currently consists of lead guitarist Adam De Micco, drummer Austin Archey, rhythm guitarist Andrew O'Connor, vocalist Will Ramos, and bassist Michael Yager. The band is most known for their 2021 single "To the Hellfire". They have released four studio albums ''Psalms'' (2015), ''Flesh Coffin'' (2017), ''Immortal'' (2020), and ''Pain Remains'' (2022). The band has also released four EPs. Since 2017, no original members remain in the band. Deathcore is an extreme metal subgenre that combines death metal with metalcore. The genre consists of death metal guitar riffs, blast beats, and metalcore breakdowns. ''Psalms'' is the debut studio album by American deathcore band Lorna Shore. It was released on June 9, 2015 through Density Records, their only album with the label, and was produced by Will Putney. Critical reception The album received mostly positive reviews from critics. ''KillYourStereo'' rated the album 3 out of 5 and said: "It would be going too far to say that Lorna Shore's ''Psalms'' is a bad album. ''Immortal'' is the third studio album by American deathcore band Lorna Shore. It was released on January 31, 2020 through Century Media Records and was produced by Josh Schroeder. The album is the band's first studio release with the label. It is also their first studio release to not feature founding vocalist Tom Barber, who left the band to join Chelsea Grin. It is the band's only studio album to feature vocalist CJ McCreery (originally of Pennsylvania-based act Signs of the Swarm), who joined the band in 2018 and was fired in December 2019, a month before the album's release date. Carnifex is an American deathcore band from San Diego County, California. Formed in 2005, they are currently signed to Nuclear Blast after having been signed to Victory Records. They have released eight full-length albums and three EPs. Since 2022, the band has consisted of founding members, lead vocalist Scott Ian Lewis and drummer Shawn Cameron, along with rhythm guitarist Cory Arford, bassist Fred Calderon and lead guitarist Neal Tiemann. Zakk Cervini is an American record producer, vocal producer, songwriter, and mixing engineer. He was born in Monroe, Connecticut on June 2, 1993.
