''Fleishman Is in Trouble'' is an American drama streaming television miniseries created by Taffy Brodesser-Akner based on her 2019 novel of the same name. The series premiered on FX on Hulu on November 17, 2022. Premise Toby Fleishman, the protagonist, is a recently divorced man in his 40's using dating apps for the first time. As he begins to find successes he never found in his youth, his ex-wife Rachel disappears without a trace, leaving him with their kids. Alfred Fleishman (June 16, 1905 – May 28, 2002) was an American businessman and the co-founder of Fleishman-Hillard with his business partner Robert Hillard. Over the course of his career, Fleishman earned a reputation not only as one of the pioneers of public relations, but also as an author, educator, humanitarian, and champion of the state of Israel. Early life Fleishman was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 16, 1905. He went on to study at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy before being inducted into the U.S. Army; as a major in the Army Air Corps, he spent World War II primarily as a Pentagon-based public information officer. Zachary Rodin Fleishman (born March 17, 1980) is an American professional tennis player. Personal life Fleishman was born in Santa Monica, and attended UCLA for one year before turning pro. Veniamin Iosifovich Fleishman, (russian: Вениами́н Ио́сифович Фле́йшман, July 20, 1913 in Bezhetsk, Tver Governorate – September 14, 1941 in Krasnoye Selo, Leningrad Oblast) was a Soviet composer. ''Rothschild's Violin'' While studying under Dmitri Shostakovich at the Leningrad Conservatory (1939–1941), he began a one-act opera '' Rothschild's Violin'' based on Anton Chekhov's short story of the same name about Bronza, a Russian country coffin-maker and violinist, and his combative relationship with the Jewish musicians in his village.
