Flavor Of Life (album)
''Flavor of Life'' is the first and only studio album by Japanese pop unit Soul Crusaders. It was released on October 3, 2001, through Giza Studio. Background The album consists of three previous released singles, such as "Safety Love", "Lonesome Tonight ~Kimi dake Mitsumeteru~" () and "Baby Sweet Sunshine". The lyricist and keyboardist of Japanese pop band Garnet Crow, Nana Azuki and Giza composer Aika Ohno were involved with the album production. The single ''Safety Love'' was released in the Giza Studio's compilation album ''Giza Studio Masterpiece Blend 2001'', it was released again in compilation album ''GIZA studio presents -Girls-'' which released in 2011. This is their last music release. In 2002, they disbanded. Charting performance The album charted at #28 on the Oricon charts in its first week. Charted for 3 weeks and sold more than 13,280 copies. Soul Crusaders
Soul Crusaders was a Japanese pop and soul group, formed in 2000 and disbanded in 2002 under Giza Studio label. Biography In October 2000, they've made major debut with the single Safety Love which became their smash hit, ranked #30 in Oricon Weekly charts. The lyricist from Garnet Crow, Azuki Nana and composer Aika Ohno were involved with the music production of single. With this song they've made their first TV appearance in Japanese music program ''Hey! Hey! Hey! Music Champ''. This song was included in the compilation album ''Giza Studio Masterpiece Blend 2001''. In 2001 they've released two singles "Lonesome Tonight" and "Baby My Sunshine". With their second single they've made their final TV appearance on same music program as in October 2000. is a Japanese record label. The Giza Studio started as an indie label in the late 1990s under the name Garage Indies Zapping Association, but soon Being Inc. bought it as their sister label company. Giza Studio is located in Osaka, Japan and has been producing successful artists such as Mai Kuraki, Garnet Crow, Rina Aiuchi, etc. since their commercial service on September 1, 1998. Daiko Nagato
is a Japanese musical producer, musical arranger, writer and composer. He's more known as a founder of music company Being Inc., which provided million seller hits during the 1990s and with his music company provided more than 80 theme songs for anime television series Detective Conan. He was the charge recording producer for the following artist such as Boøwy, Loudness, TUBE, B'z, ZARD, WANDS, Maki Ohguro, DEEN, T-BOLAN, Mai Kuraki, Garnet Crow and Rina Aiuchi. Garnet Crow
Garnet Crow (stylized as GARNET CROW) was a Japanese pop/rock band formed in 1999 and associated with the Giza Studio record label. Members include Yuri Nakamura, Hitoshi Okamoto, Nana Azuki, and Hirohito Furui, with Nakamura leading on vocals. Music produced by Garnet Crow has its roots in the neo acoustic genre, and representative works include "Flying", "Yume Mita Ato De", and "Spiral". Despite prolific early singles, the band neither performed live nor appeared on TV prior to 2002. The mixed composition of Garnet Crow and Nakamura's deep vocals set the group apart from its contemporaries. Nana Azuki
(born July 26, 1974) is a Japanese musical lyricist and keyboardist under Giza Studio label. She is a former member of the Japanese pop band Garnet Crow, primarily as the lead songwriter and keyboardist. Biography Since she was 4, and until she was 19, she took flute and piano lessons. After graduating from college in 1999, she began showing off her talents in a number of auditions. Her earlier works were associated with Maki Ohguro, Deen, Field of View, WAG and Wands. After creating the band Garnet Crow in 1999 as a indie band and in 2000 as a major band, she has been continuing providing work to a number of Giza Studio artists as Takaoka Ai, Shiori Takei, Hayami Kishimoto and Sayuri Iwata. Takashi Masuzaki
, is a Japanese guitarist, composer and arranger under Being Inc. agency and member of the fusion band Dimension He is former member of the pop group B.B.Queens and Bluew. Biography The beginnings of his career are dated for year 1983, where he signed under music agency and was primarily active as a musician and back band member. In 1987, when Takashi was member of the band Bluew (1987-1989) as a guitarist. At the same time he became consistent member of the live tours for the singer Mari Hamada. In 1990, he published his first solo work "Speaks" under BMG Victor and became the member of the group B.B.
