Flavio Vanzella
Flavio Vanzella (born 4 March 1964) is a former Italian professional road bicycle racer. He was professional in 1989 to 1998. He won 3 victories. In the 1994 Tour de France he wore the yellow jersey for 2 days. Other victories included a stage win in the Euskal Bizikleta, a stage win in the 1995 Tour de Suisse and the Giro del Veneto. He also competed in the team time trial at the 1988 Summer Olympics. Eros Poli
Eros Poli (born 6 August 1963 in Isola della Scala, Veneto) is an Italian former professional racing cyclist of the 1990s, notably employed as Mario Cipollini's lead-out man in bunch sprints. Biography Poli won the gold medal in the Team Time Trial at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California, together with Claudio Vandelli, Marcello Bartalini and Marco Giovannetti. He also rode at the 1988 Summer Olympics. Following Cipollini's abandonment of the 1994 Tour de France, Poli won the Montpellier to Carpentras stage (the 15th) which featured an ascent of Mont Ventoux. Poli calculated that if he broke away from the peloton by a sufficient margin on the flat run to the base of the climb of the Mont Ventoux, he would reach the summit in front in spite of his relatively poor climbing speed due to his heavy 197 cm frame. The Giro del Veneto is a classic cycle races, semi classic European Road bicycle racing, bicycle race held in the region of Veneto, Italy. The race is a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour. In 2012 the race merged with another Italian classic, Coppa Placci, after some financial problems, and was held under the name "Giro Del Veneto - Coppa Placci". Mario Scirea
Mario Scirea (; born 7 August 1964) is an Italian former racing cyclist. Career Scirea was a professional for 15 years, riding with six different teams throughout his career. He rode in 29 Grand Tours between 1989 and 2004. He also rode in the team time trial event at the 1988 Summer Olympics. From 1996 until the end of his career in 2004, he rode with Mario Cipollini and was a key member of Cipollini's legendary sprint train. Scirea's only major victory was in 1987, when he won the World Time Trial Team Championships with teammates Roberto Fortunato, Eros Poli and Flavio Vanzella. He also finished second in the same event the previous year. His only notable win as a professional was stage two of the Hofbrau Cup in 1996.
