Flavio Cattaneo
Flavio Cattaneo (born 27 June 1963, in Rho, Italy) is an Italian manager, non-executive vice president of Italo - NTV (Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori), the first private company operating high-speed trains in Europe, and member of the board of Assicurazioni Generali. He is CEO and General Manager of Enel and vice chair of Endesa. Cattaneo is married to the Italian actress Sabrina Ferilli. Biography A graduate in architecture from the “Politecnico” University in Milan, Cattaneo received a specialisation in business finance and management in the real estate sector at SDA Bocconi School of Management. From 1989 to 1998 he served as CEO of various Italian companies in the building and real estate sectors. From 1998 to 2001, Cattaneo was director of several energy companies, including AEM S.p.A. Rho, Italy
Rho (; ; ) is a town and ''comune'' (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about northwest of Milan. The language spoken in Rho is Italian. Geography Rho is lapped by the river Olona and crossed by its tributaries Bozzente and Lura, nowadays partially cloaked inside the town. The Order of Merit for Labour ( it, Ordine al Merito del Lavoro) is an Italian order of chivalry that was founded in 1923 by King Vittorio Emanuele III. It is awarded to those "who have been singularly meritorious" in agriculture, industry and commerce, crafts, lending and insurance.
