Flashpoint (1972 Film)
''Flashpoint'' is a 1972 Australian film. Plot David moves to a mining town in northwest Australia. He befriends a veteran worked for the mining company, Foxy, and his wife Vicky. Vicky and David become friends, making Foxy jealous. Gil Brealey
Gilbert John Brealey (9 April 1932 – 1 April 2018) was an Australian television and film director, producer and writer. Brealey was born in Melbourne, and studied at the University of Melbourne, where he made his first amateur films around the age of 20. He was a member of the Melbourne University film society and was a speaker at the Eisenstein Weekend organised by the WEA Film Study Group in October 1963. He began his directing career in television in the 1960s with the Australian Broadcasting Commission (later the Australian Broadcasting Corporation), where he worked for approximately eight years. His notable credits there include Australia's first science fiction TV series '' The Stranger'' (1964–65) and the 1965 TV miniseries adaptation of the George Johnston novel '' My Brother Jack''. Serge Lazareff
Serge Constantine Lazareff (7 August 1944 - 20 August 2021) was an Australian actor and screenwriter/editor, who was born in Shanghai, China. He appeared in 54 roles from the late 1960s until 1999, before starting a second career as a writer for TV series. Acting Lazareff performed in many Australian television series from the late 1960s to the late 1990s and made numerous appearances in Crawford Productions police shows including ''The Sullivans'', ''Homicide'', ''Division 4'', ''Matlock Police'' and '' Chopper Squad''. He had a featured part in the 1970 ABC-TV drama series ''Dynasty''. Film Australia was a company established by the Government of Australia to produce films about Australia in 1973. Its predecessors were the Cinema and Photographic Branch (1913–38), the Australian National Film Board (1939–1955, under different departments), and the Commonwealth Film Unit (1956–72). Film Australia became Film Australia Limited in 1988 and was consolidated into Screen Australia in 2008. Administration of the Film Australia Collection was transferred from Screen Australia to the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia on 1 July 2011. Wyn Roberts (actor)
Wynn Roberts (born 1923/1924 – 24 August 2021) credited also as Wyn Roberts and Wynne Roberts, was an Australian radio, stage and screen actor who appeared in more than 70 film and television productions between the early 1950s and 2001. He appeared in numerous TV plays and also featured in TV miniseries over a career spanning 50 years. His television credits include ''Homicide'', ''Prisoner'', '' Special Squad'', ''Neighbours'', ''The Flying Doctors'', ''Police Rescue'', ''A Country Practice'' and '' Wildside''.
