Flare (Techno-Cultural Fest) .
Flare is the annual socio-cultural festival of the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. It is a four-day festival at PDPU featuring music and dance. It is held in April every year. It was started in 2010 and since then has attendance of over 9,000 students from various colleges of India. Pro-nites In its first year, there were performances by the Pakistani band Jal and several other bands like Antariksh based on popular band Pink Floyd. In its second year, Flare hosted performances by Agnee, Highway 61, and Jaipur Beats along with DJ Suketu Suketu Radia, also known as DJ Suketu (born 19 November 1976) is an Indian DJ, music producer and content creator. Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University
Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), formerly Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), has been established by GERMI as a Private University through the State Act enacted on 4 April 2007. The university is located at Raysan village of Gandhinagar city in an area known as Knowledge Corridor, and it is near the GIFT City. It is 8 km from Gujarat state capital Gandhinagar, and 23 km from Gujarat's largest city Ahmedabad.
