Fjernsynsteatret
Fjernsynsteatret was a department of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) which produced plays for television broadcasting. It opened in 1960 (after about a year of experimental operation), and operated until 1990, when a major reorganisation of NRK took place. Its first leader was Arild Brinchmann, who headed the theatre from its start until 1967. Later directors were Tore Breda Thoresen from 1967 to 1980, and Magne Bleness from 1980 to 1990. Magne Bleness
Magne Bleness (30 April 1933 – 1 December 1992) was a Norwegian actor and theatre director. He was born in Fana, and was married twice, first to Berit Gøril Havrevold in 1957, second to Mette Janson in 1961. He had the son Carsten Bleness (b. 1958). He made his stage debut in 1953 in Oslo, at Sommerteatret, and later worked at Nationaltheatret and Fjernsynsteatret. His first stage production was the play ''Semmelweiss'' by Jens Bjørneboe, at Nationaltheatret in 1969. Tore Breda Thoresen
Tore Breda Thoresen (29 January 1923 – 1 August 2008) was a Norwegian photographer, film director and theatre director. Thoresen was born in Drammen to engineer Georg Thoresen and Edel Sofie Johnsen. In 1952 he married Ursula Jacobine Frost. Among his early films are '' Trost i taklampa'' from 1955 and ''Elias rekefisker'' from 1958, as photographer. NRK, an abbreviation of the Norwegian ''Norsk Rikskringkasting AS'', generally expressed in English as the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, is the Norwegian government-owned radio and television public broadcasting company, and the largest media organisation in Norway. Arild Brinchmann
Arild () is a locality situated in Höganäs Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 522 inhabitants in 2010. It is located in the bay of Skälderviken in north-western Scania, approximately 30 km north of Helsingborg in Sweden. Arild belongs to Brunnby parish with its seat in Brunnby. The parish is represented in Arild by Arilds Chapel. Peter Brook
Peter Stephen Paul Brook (21 March 1925 – 2 July 2022) was an English theatre and film director. He worked first in England, from 1945 at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, from 1947 at the Royal Opera House, and from 1962 for the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). With them, he directed the first English-language production in 1964 of ''Marat/Sade'' by Peter Weiss, which was transferred to Broadway theatre, Broadway in 1965 and won the Tony Award for Best Play, and Brook was named Tony Award for Best Direction of a Play, Best Director.
