Maestri Bridge
The Maestri Bridge (originally known as the Pontchartrain Bridge and later as the Watson-Williams Pontchartrain Bridge and the Five Mile Bridge) carries U.S. Route 11 (US 11) across Lake Pontchartrain between New Orleans and Slidell, Louisiana, in the United States. The bridge was the longest concrete bridge in the world upon completion. It is wide and has two bascule-type draw spans for passing vessels and barges. History The bridge opened on February 18, 1928, as the first permanent crossing of Lake Pontchartrain. The New Orleans Stock Exchange was closed on the day of the opening, a Saturday, to allow members to attend the opening. The bridge was originally a toll structure, costing $1.25 for a motor vehicle with one driver plus ten cents for each additional passenger. Louisiana Governor Huey Long was opposed to toll bridges and offered to have the state purchase the bridge from its private owners. The offer was rejected, so Long constructed two free bridges to ...

Ohio State Route 555
State Route 555 (SR 555) is a , north–south running state highway that passes through four counties in southeastern Ohio. State Route 555's southern terminus is at the concurrency of US 50, SR 7 and SR 32 (James A. Rhodes Appalachian Highway) in the unincorporated community of Little Hocking in extreme southwestern Washington County. Its northern terminus is at SR 60 in Wayne Township, just outside Zanesville. The route passes through primarily rural portions of Washington, Morgan, Perry, and Muskingum counties, connecting unincorporated villages along the way. Its emergence into southern Zanesville at the route's northern end takes the route into a more suburban setting before it terminates. Fiskerton is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 1,209. It is situated approximately east from the city and county town of Lincoln, and on the north side of the River Witham. Also home of the reported cryptic "Fiskerton phantom". History Fiskerton Grade I listed Anglican parish church, which stands at the side of the main road through the village, is dedicated to St Clement. It dates from the 11th century, and was restored in 1863. The arcade of the north aisle is Norman; that of the south aisle, Early English.
