Mark Anthony Fish (born 14 March 1974) is a retired South African footballer who played as a defender. Club career Born in Cape Town, Fish started his career in his native South Africa under the guidance of renowned coach Steve Coetsee, playing for Arcadia Shepherds, an amateur team based at the Caledonian Stadium in Pretoria. He was spotted by then Jomo Cosmos coach Roy Matthews and turned professional as a striker. It was at Cosmos that he was converted into a left back and went on to become one of the most promising defenders in South Africa at the time. In 1994 Fish was signed by Orlando Pirates after Cosmos were relegated. At Pirates he arguably played the best football of his career under the tutelage of Mike Makaab. Leslie Fish is a folk musician, author, and anarchist political activist. Music Along with The DeHorn Crew, in 1976 she created the first commercial filk recording, ''Folk Songs for Folk Who Ain't Even Been Yet''. Her second recording, ''Solar Sailors'' (1977) included the song "Banned from Argo", a comic song parodying ''Star Trek'' which has since spawned over 100 variants and parodies. These two albums (originally on vinyl) have recently been put back into print on joint CD, entitled ''Folk Songs for Solar Sailors''. Joseph Fish (1840–1926) was an early settler of Iron City, Utah and Snowflake, Arizona and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A book edited by John H. Krinkel, ''The Life and Times of Joseph Fish'', was published about the Mormon pioneer Joseph Fish and his trek to Salt Valley. The book was published by Interstate Printing and Publishers, Inc. and reviewed in the Arizona Republic newspaper in 1971. He was married to four wives in polygamy and had 20 children. Jeremy Dan Fish (born 1974) is an American illustrator and artist. He lives and works in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco. Early life and education Fish was born in Albany, New York.
