Paul Fischli
Paul Fischli (born 6 May 1945) is a Switzerland, Swiss former football (soccer), football player and Head coach, manager. He played as a Defender (football), defender throughout the 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s. Career As a sixteen-year-old, Paul Fischli played his debut in the FC Glarus first team in the third amateur division. The team were promoted to the 2. Liga (Switzerland), 2. Liga at the end of the season. Fischli started playing semi-professionally in 1965 with FC Young Fellows Zürich in the Nationalliga B (later renamed Swiss Challenge League, Challenge League). Young Fellows were promoted at the end of the season to the Nationalliga A (later renamed Swiss Super League). Fischli played for Young Fellows for three years, but the team was relegated at the end of the 1967–68 in Swiss football, 1967–68 season and the club sold the entire team. Peter Fischli (born 8 June 1952) and David Weiss (21 June 1946 – 27 April 2012), often shortened to Fischli/Weiss, were a Swiss artist duo that collaborated beginning in 1979. Their best-known work is the film '' Der Lauf der Dinge'' (''The Way Things Go'', 1987), described by ''The Guardian'' as being "post apocalyptic", as it concerned chain reactions and the ways in which objects flew, crashed and exploded across the studio in which it was shot. Fischli lives and works in Zürich; Weiss died on 27 April 2012. Education and early career Peter Fischli (born 8 June 1952) was born in Zürich. David Weiss (21 June 1946 – 27 April 2012) grew up as the son of a parish priest and a teacher. Samuel Fischli (born 2 April 1998) is a New Zealand rugby union player who players for in the National Provincial Championship (NPC). He also plays for the New England Free Jacks in Major League Rugby (MLR) in the U.S. His playing position is flanker. Early life Fischli attended Tokomairiro High School in Milton, New Zealand.
