First Time Felon
''First Time Felon'' is a 1997 drama film starring Omar Epps. Plot A young inexperienced drug dealer and Vice Lords gang member, Greg Yance (Omar Epps), is arrested for drug possession in his hometown, Chicago. Because of Yance having five grams of drugs under his belt at the time of arrest, he is facing a five-year prison sentence with no parole for drug trafficking. Because it is his first offense, he is offered an alternate sentence of 120 days in an intensive boot camp. Throughout the boot camp, an experienced drill sergeant, Sergeant Calhoun (Delroy Lindo), continues pressuring Yance to follow through with the camp. Sergeant Calhoun's brutal methods breed resentment in Yance and other inmates. Anthony Criss (born December 2, 1970), better known by his stage name Treach, is an American rapper and actor. He is perhaps best known as the lead rapper of the hip hop group Naughty by Nature. Green Cove Springs, Florida
Green Cove Springs is a city in and the county seat of Clay County, Florida, United States. The population was 5,378 at the 2000 census. As of 2010, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 6,908. The city is named after the portion of the St. Johns River upon which it is built. The river bends here, and the area is sheltered by trees that are perennially green. History The area was first inhabited over 7,000 years ago by Native Americans by the warm mineral spring. The hydrological spring of the same name, locally known as the "Original Fountain of Youth", attracted guests in the 19th century; more than a dozen hotels were near the spring. Ed Grady
Edward Louis Grady (August 31, 1923 – December 10, 2012) was an American stage, film and television actor and teacher. Early life Grady was born to Eddie Jones Grady and Maude Clara (née Hodges) Grady on August 31, 1923, in Kinston, North Carolina. He graduated from Grainger High School in Kinston. Grady enlisted in the Army Air Force during World War II and trained as a cryptographer. He served on Ie Shima (Iejima) during the war, and was awarded the Soldier's Medal for rescuing the pilot of a P-47 which was on fire. Grady received a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) after World War II. He was the member of the Carolina Playmakers at the Playmakers Theatre while studying at UNC. Grady later became an English teacher in New York City, where he also taught a photo workshop held at Columbia University.
