First Sharif Ministry
The first Nawaz Sharif ministry under prime minister Nawaz Sharif was sworn into office on 9 November 1990, after the nine-party Islami Jamhoori Ittehad (IJI) unanimously nominated him the government head. __TOC__ Cabinet Sharif's 18-member cabinet was one of the smallest in the country's history, especially compared to the record 58-member cabinet of his ousted predecessor Benazir Bhutto. Syed Fakhar Imam ( ur, سید فخر امام) (born 18 December 1942) is a Pakistani politician who served as Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, from April 2020 to April 2022. He also served as the 11th Speaker of National Assembly of Pakistan from 1985 to 1986. He has previously worked as the Chairman of Pakistan's Parliamentary Special Committee on Kashmir. Syed Ghous Ali Shah (Urdu: سید غوث علی شاہ; born 1 January 1934) is a Pakistani politician and jurist. He was Chief Minister of Sindh, Pakistan from 1985–1988 and later the Chief Executive in 1999. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain ( pa, ; ur, ; (born 27 January 1940) is a senior Pakistani politician from a Punjabi Jat family of Gujrat who previously served as 16th prime minister of Pakistan. Lieutenant General Sahabzada Yaqub Ali Khan ( ; born 23 December 1920 – 26 January 2016) was a Pakistani politician, diplomat, military figure, pacifist, linguist, and a retired general in the Pakistani Army.
