Pramod Sawant
Pramod Sawant (born 24 April 1973) is an Indian politician and the 11th and current Chief Minister of Goa. Sawant represents the Sanquelim (Goa Assembly constituency), Sanquelim constituency in the Goa Legislative Assembly and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is an ayurveda medical practitioner by profession. He was serving as the speaker of the Goa assembly before being sworn in as Chief Minister, after the death of the sitting chief minister Manohar Parrikar. Early life and education Sawant was born on 24 April 1973 to Pandurang and Padmini Sawant. Vishwajit Pratapsingh Rane (born 23 March 1971) is an Indian politician and a cabinet Minister in the Government of Goa headed by Pramod Sawant. He is the son of Pratapsingh Raoji Rane who is a former Chief Minister of Goa and an incumbent Indian National Congress party MLA in the Goa Legislative Assembly. Jennifer Monserrate (born 24 March 1970) is an Indian politician who is a three-term member from the Taleigao Assembly constituency of the Goa Legislative Assembly.
