First House (company)
First House is a Norwegian strategic advisory, corporate communications, governmental affairs and crisis management/issue management agency. First House, with 27 senior advisers and 9 associate partners, started its operation Monday 4 January 2010. It was founded by former head of global corporate communication in Glitnir, Islandsbanki, and communications adviser in Sparebank1 Bjørn Richard Johansen. The firm is located with office in Oslo in Norway. Managing partner is Per Høiby, brother of Crown Princess Mette-Marit. Partner Leif Monsen is Chair of the board in First House. Key partners and cofounders include, minister of three different ministries including the Ministry of Health and Care Services, Bjarne Håkon Hanssen and state secretary Ketil Lindseth. Bjarne Håkon Hanssen
Bjarne Håkon Hanssen (born 1 November 1962) is a Norwegian politician of the Labour Party who served Minister of Health and Social Care Services from 2008 to 2009, Minister of Labour and Social Inclusion from 2005 to 2008 and Minister of Agriculture from 2000 to 2001. On 8 October 2009 Hansen announced that he would step down as a minister when Stoltenberg's reshuffled cabinet would be put together. As a minister he was both liked for his down to earth attitude, but also received much criticism for statements like “People on benefit must get up in the morning”. He was also member of Parliament from 1997 to 2009 and county mayor of Nord-Trøndelag from 1995 to 1997. Biography Hanssen graduated from Namsos Upper Secondary School in 1981 and from Levanger Teacher College in 1985. Erlend Fuglum
Erlend Fuglum (born 13 March 1978) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party. He was born in Namsos, but served as a member of Grong municipal council from 1999 to 2003. He took a minor in political science at the University of Oslo in 2000 and a bachelor's degree at Vestfold University College in 2003. From 2004 to 2007 he was the leader of the Centre Youth, the youth wing of the Centre Party, and also central board member of the Centre Party. In the Centre Party Adult Education Organisation he was a board member from 2007 to 2007 and secretary-general from 2008 to 2010. He was also a board member of the Nordic Association of Adult Education from 2007 to 2009, and a working committee member of No to the EU from 2007 to 2008. From 2010 to 2012 he was employed in First House. He served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Nord-Trøndelag during the term 2005–2009 and 2009–2013.
