Roberto Firmino Barbosa de Oliveira (born 2 October 1991) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward or attacking midfielder for club Liverpool and the Brazil national team. After starting his career with Figueirense in 2009, he spent four-and-a-half seasons at Hoffenheim. His 16 goals in 33 games for the 2013–14 Bundesliga season earned him the award for the league's Breakthrough Player. In July 2015, he signed for Liverpool. His creativity, goalscoring and work rate have earned him plaudits at Liverpool, with manager Jürgen Klopp referring to Firmino as the "engine" that propels the club's counter-pressing system. Firmino Alves
Firmino Alves is a municipality in the state of Bahia in the North-East region of Brazil. It covers , and has a population of 5,629 with a population density of 33.15 inhabitants per square kilometer. Remanso was originally inhabited by indigenous people of the Baiana or Paraguaçu ethnic group. Leonel Vieira Lima started a manioc farm and flour factory in 1935. Other families followed and formed the village Itamirim in 1938. Firmino Alves became an independent municipality on August 27, 1962 when it was separated from the municipality of IbicaraÃ. It consists of two districts: Firmino Alves, the municipal seat, and Itaiá. Cândido Firmino de Mello-Leitão (July 17, 1886 – December 14, 1948) was a Brazilian zoologist who is considered the founder of Arachnology in South America, publishing 198 papers on the taxonomy of Arachnida. He was also involved with education, writing high-school textbooks, and contributed to biogeography, with essays on the distribution of Arachnida in the South American continent.
