Firmin Ngrébada
Firmin Ngrébada (born 1968) is the former prime minister of the Central African Republic. He was appointed after a peace deal was signed between the government and 14 armed groups to try to suppress violence in the ongoing civil war. He also led the Central African Republic's delegation in the negotiations of the peace deal. Political career Firmin Ngrebada graduated in law, in 1988, then he obtained a Master's degree in Public Law, in 1994, at the University of Bangui. He entered public service in October 1993, inspecting social and labor law. Ngrébada served as Deputy Cabinet Director under Simplice Sarandji when Sarandji was Cabinet Director and Faustin-Archange Touadéra was Prime Minister. Simplice Sarandji
Simplice Sarandji (born 4 April 1955 in Baoro, Ubangi-Shari, now Central African Republic) is the former Prime Minister of Central African Republic. He previously acted as the chief of staff for Prime Minister Faustin-Archange Touadera, and the campaign manager during Touadera's successful Presidential campaign. Prior to his political career, he lectured in geography at the University of Bangui. Educational career Simplice Sarandji holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Geography from Michel de Montaigne University Bordeaux 3, and subsequently taught the subject for four years at the University of Bangui, where he also became Dean. The University of Bangui (french: Université de Bangui) is a public university located in Bangui, Central African Republic. History Before independence in Oubangui-Chari (later to be called the Central African Republic), most students going on to higher education headed for universities in France. After gaining independence in 1958, the Central African Republic took part in the Foundation for Higher Education in Central Africa (FESAC). The FESAC encompassed several former French colonies, each with schools or institutes with a specific focus. Within the FESAC, the Central African Republic had the agricultural institute.
