''Firewater'' is the fifth album by West Coast hip hop group Tha Alkaholiks. The album was released on January 24, 2006, through Waxploitation Records. In late 2004, the group announced that ''Firewater'' would be their final album. The trio later reformed in 2011. The album features the single "The Flute Song (LaLaLa)." Silkworm (band)
Silkworm was an American indie rock band active from 1987 to 2005 whose core members were Tim Midyett, Andy Cohen, and Michael Dahlquist. History Origins: 1985–1987 Founding members Tim Midyett (formerly Midgett), Joel RL Phelps, and Andy Cohen began writing and performing under the name Ein Heit in Missoula, Montana from 1985 to 1987. In 1987, they adopted the name Silkworm. Relocation: 1987–1990 They relocated to Seattle in 1990, where they met drummer Michael Dahlquist. During a radio interview on WNUR at Northwestern University, Steve Albini called in to contact the band. Albini had attended Hellgate High School, the same high school that Phelps, Midyett, and Cohen attended in Missoula, Montana. King T
Roger McBride (born December 14, 1968), better known by his stage name King T (formerly known as King Tee), is an American West Coast Hip hop rapper from Compton, California. Emerging as one of Compton's earliest hip hop artists, he was signed to Capitol Records, where he released his debut album '' Act a Fool'' in 1988 with the hit singles "Act a Fool," "Payback's A Mutha," "The Coolest," and "Bass” emix all of which were considered hip-hop classics. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he worked primarily with producer DJ Pooh, and was responsible for the rise of Tha Alkaholiks, whom he helped guide into the rap game. Michael Taylor Perretta (born December 10, 1976), known professionally as Evidence, is an American rapper and record producer from Venice, Los Angeles, California. He is also a member of the group Dilated Peoples, as well as being one-half of Step Brothers with The Alchemist. Before creating music, Perretta was a graffiti artist.
