Federico Fiori
Federico Barocci (also written ''Barozzi'')(c. 1535 in Urbino – 1612 in Urbino) was an Italian Renaissance Painting, painter and printmaker. His original name was Federico Fiori, and he was nicknamed Il Baroccio. His work was highly esteemed and influential, and foreshadows the Baroque of Peter Paul Rubens, Rubens. He is generally considered the greatest and the most individual painter of his time in central Italy. Early life and training He was born at Urbino, Duchy of Urbino, and received his earliest apprenticeship with his father, Ambrogio Barocci, a sculptor of some local eminence. He was then apprenticed with the painter Battista Franco in Urbino. Serge Fiori (born March 4, 1952) was the lead vocalist and guitarist for Harmonium, a progressive rock band from Quebec. After Harmonium broke up he pursued a solo career. Biography Serge Fiori grew up in the Little Italy district of Montreal, Canada, and made his performing debut in the ballroom orchestra of his father George Fiori. At age 18 he was working as a professional musician, and beginning to write his own material. In 1972, a friend introduced him to who was looking for someone to write the music for a play. Although the project was not completed, the two guitarists formed Harmonium the following year, completing the trio with bassist . Publio Fiori (born 25 March 1938) is an Italian politician. He was born in Rome and graduated in law. He became a member of Christian Democracy, to which he belonged for much of his political career. In 1977 a commando of Brigate Rosse (communist terrorists) shot him at legs and thorax. Fiori is often included in the list of those belonging to Propaganda Due (P2), a Masonic lodge operating illegally (in contravention of the Italian constitution banning secret lodges, and membership of government officials in secret membership organizations) from 1976 to 1981. In 2001, however, the Court of Rome ruled out his membership of P2. Biography Beginnings Fiori was born to a French-Armenian father (Jacques Chouchayan) and a Corsican mother (Marie Antoinette Fiori) in Marseille, France. His father's family were escapees of the Armenian genocide. He was born in a family of five siblings. He spent part of his childhood in Marseille south of France and part in Ajaccio in Corsica. Edward Ray Fiori (born April 21, 1953) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. Fiori was born in Lynwood, California. As a youth, Fiori would sneak through a barbed wire fence to a nine-hole course near his Downey, California home to practice his game. He attended the University of Houston where he played on the golf team. He turned pro in 1977 and joined the PGA Tour in 1978. Fiori won four tournaments on the PGA Tour. His first win was at the 1979 Southern Open. His last victory at the 1996 Quad City Classic led to the postponement of his plans to retire from the game and become a charter-boat captain.
