Mark Fiore is an American political cartoonist specializing in Flash-animated editorial cartoons, whom ''The Wall Street Journal'' called "the undisputed guru of the form". Fiore lives in San Francisco, California, and his cartoons have appeared in numerous American papers and a number of web sites. Tony Fiore (born August 7, 1962) is a Canadian-Italian retired professional ice hockey center. Career After scoring 82 goals and 110 assists in 147 games with the QMJHL's Montreal Juniors between 1980 and 1982, Fiore was selected 165nd overall by the Boston Bruins at the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. He never played in NHL. He spent the next two seasons split between the AHL and IHL with Hershey Bears and Flint Generals. Later he played most in Italian Serie A with HC Auronzo (1984-1986), Alleghe Hockey (1986-1987), HC Milano Saima (1987-1992), SG Milano Saima (1993-1995) and HC Milano 24 (1995-1996). He won a ''scudetto'' with HC Milano Saima in year 1991. He was a member of the Italian national team at the Group B World Championships in 1989 and 1991. Tommaso Fiore (7 March 1884 – 4 June 1973) was an Italian meridionalist writer and a socialist intellectual and politician. He is known for his attention and his descriptions and studies on the inhumane conditions of Southern Italian and often specifically Apulian peasants at that time. He is also known for his Viareggio Prize-winning book ''Un popolo di formiche'' ("A people of ants"). In the 1920s, he was appointed as mayor ( it, sindaco) of his hometown Altamura. Stefano Fiore (; born 17 April 1975) is an Italian football manager and former player, who played as an attacking midfielder or on the right wing. He was in charge as manager technical area of Nuova Cosenza Calcio in Serie D. Fiore played for several Italian clubs throughout his career; he started out with Cosenza in 1992, before moving to Parma for a season in 1994, where he made his Serie A debut and won the UEFA Cup. Quentin Fiore (February 12, 1920 – April 13, 2019) was a graphic designer, who worked mostly in books. Early life and education Quentin Fiore was born on February 12, 1920, in the Bronx, New York to Antonino, a tailor, and Bice (née Bononi) Fiore and was raised in Brooklyn. Fiore was a self-taught designer. His visual education came from a short period of painting and drawing classes in New York in the late 1930s at the Art Students League of New York with George Grosz and, later, Hans Hoffmann. Fiore later studied at the "New Bauhaus" in Chicago. He was a conscientious objector during World War II along with two of his four brothers. Michael Gary Joseph Fiore (born October 11, 1944) is a former first baseman in Major League Baseball. Mike was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended Lafayette High School. He was signed by the New York Mets before the season, drafted by the Baltimore Orioles from the Mets in the 1963 first-year draft (December 2), and later drafted by the Kansas City Royals from the Orioles as the 17th pick in the 1968 expansion draft. Michele Ann Fiore (born July 29, 1970) is an American Republican politician serving as a justice of the peace for Nye County since being appointed to the position by the Nye County Commission in December 2022. She moved to Nye County in November 2022 after losing the race for Nevada State Treasurer in the 2022 election. She was a member of the Nevada Assembly from 2012 to 2016.
