Fiona Horne
Fiona Horne (born 1966 in Sydney) is the former lead singer of 1990s Australian electro-rock band, Def FX, before continuing on to author several best-selling books on Modern Witchcraft. She is a popular radio and television personality, appearing on many programs around the world. She is now a commercial pilot, humanitarian aid worker, world record holding skydiver, professional fire dancer, yoga instructor and freediver. Musical career 1984–1989: Sister Sludge and The Mothers Horne started playing in bands when she moved to Adelaide, South Australia, in 1984. Her first band was Sister Sludge, which only lasted for six months until Horne moved back to Sydney. She then formed a punk-thrash band, The Mothers, in 1985. ''Australian Playboy'' was an Australian imprint of ''Playboy'' magazine, running between 1979 and 2000, during which time 252 issues were published. Content In 1979 Kerry Packer's ACP Magazines secured the Australian rights to ''Playboy'' magazine. ''Australian Playboy'' featured similar content to the lead US edition, and included interviews, feature articles and entertainment reviews. The magazine would rely heavily on the US edition for pictorials, and thus reprinted many pictorials featuring popular US Playmates and celebrities including Pamela Anderson, Erika Eleniak and Anna Nicole Smith. SF (formerly Sci Fi Channel) was an Australian subscription channel that aired science fiction, fantasy and related programs. It was available on Foxtel, Austar and Optus Television subscription platforms. In 2012 the channel rebranded from Sci Fi to SF. ''Mad Mad House'' is a 2004 reality television series about a group of ten contestants competing for $100,000. The contestants live together in a house inhabited by another group of people known as the ''alts'' (for their alternative lifestyles).
