''Finnmarken'' is a local newspaper published in Vadsø, Norway. It covers eastern Finnmark. It was established in 1899 by Adam Egede-Nissen and others. In 1942 ''Finnmarken'' was taken over by the national socialist occupant regime. They incorporated it into ''Finnmark Folkeblad'' in 1944. In 1945, after the occupation, this was reversed; however, both '' Folkets Frihet'' and ''Vadsø Arbeiderblad'' were absorbed into ''Finnmarken''. It has a circulation of 7,147, of whom 6,302 are subscribers. Amedia AS is the second largest media company in Norway (the largest is Schibsted and the third largest is Polaris Media). Adam Egede-Nissen
Adam Hjalmar Egede-Nissen (29 June 1868 – 4 April 1953), was a Norway, Norwegian Posten Norge, postmaster and politician, began his political career in the Liberal Party of Norway, Liberal Party and was first elected to the Storting (parliament) in 1900. He later switched to the Norwegian Labour Party, Labour Party before eventually joining the Communist Party of Norway, serving as party chairman from 1934 to 1946. Finnmark (; se, Finnmárku ; fkv, Finmarku; fi, Ruija ; russian: Финнмарк) was a county in the northern part of Norway, and it is scheduled to become a county again in 2024. On 1 January 2020, Finnmark was merged with the neighbouring county of Troms to form the new Troms og Finnmark county. On 1 January 2024, the county will be demerged back to the counties Finnmark and Troms, after a decision made by parliament on 15 June 2022. By land, it bordered Troms county to the west, Finland ( Lapland region) to the south, and Russia (Murmansk Oblast) to the east, and by water, the Norwegian Sea (Atlantic Ocean) to the northwest, and the Barents Sea (Arctic Ocean) to the north and northeast. Mass Media In Finnmark
Mass is an intrinsic property of a body. It was traditionally believed to be related to the quantity of matter in a physical body, until the discovery of the atom and particle physics. It was found that different atoms and different elementary particles, theoretically with the same amount of matter, have nonetheless different masses.
