Hagar Finer ( he, הגר ×¤×™×™× ×¨, born 1984) is an Israeli boxer. She is the WIBF bantamweight champion 2009. Biography Hagar Finer was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, on October 15, 1984. She took up martial arts at the age of 13 and became the Israeli karate champion for her age group. At 17, she switched to boxing at the urging of her coach, Raanan Tal. Between 2009 and 2012, she was managed by Hezi Shayb. In 2012, she started training with a new coach named Lior David. Boxing career Finer first won the WIBF bantamweight title in a match against Ukrainian boxer Oksana Romanova which was held in Germany on October 10, 2009. Herman Finer
Herman Finer (February 24, 1898 in Hertsa, Kingdom of Romania – March 4, 1969 in Chicago, United States) was a Jewish Romanian-born British political scientist and Fabian socialist. His parents were Max Finer (1866/67–1945) and his wife, Fanny Weiner (1872/73–1945). They had immigrated from Romania and earned a living first as market traders and, later, as owners of a drapery shop. He taught for many years at the University of Chicago. Jem Finer
Jeremy Max Finer (born 20 July 1955) is an English musician, artist and composer. He was one of the founding members of The Pogues. Life and career Finer was born in Stoke-on-Trent, England, the son of political scientist Samuel Finer. He took a joint degree in computing and sociology at Keele University. After college, he travelled around Europe and spent some time working on a barge in France. He settled in London, where he met Shane MacGowan, Spider Stacy, and James Fearnley with whom he founded The Pogues. He has worked in a variety of fields, including photography, film, experimental and popular music and installation. Primarily a banjoist with the Pogues, he occasionally played other instruments including mandola, saxophone, hurdy-gurdy and the guitar. Morris Finer
Sir Morris Finer QC (12 December 1917 – 14 December 1974) was a British lawyer and judge. Early life Finer was born in Bethnal Green in London, the son of Charles Finer, a master tailor, and his wife Ray, née Topper. He was educated at Kilburn Grammar School and the London School of Economics, where he read law. He was rejected for military service during the Second World War on account of his poor eyesight, instead serving as an assistant principal in the Ministry of Health. His younger brother was the journalist Leslie Finer. Career Finer was called by Gray's Inn to the Bar in 1943, but due to the inadequacy of his earnings he also wrote leaders for the London ''Evening Standard''. He became a Queen's Counsel in 1963 and was elected a Master of the Bench of Gray's Inn in 1971, before being made a judge the following year. Leslie Finer (10 December 1922 – 10 March 2010) was a British journalist and author who worked for the BBC, the ''Financial Times'', ''The Observer'', the ''New Statesman'', other British news organisations, ''Kathimerini'' and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
