Final Battle (2004)
Final Battle is a professional wrestling event, held annually by the Ring of Honor promotion. The event was initially held in 2002. It is held in December, and is the promotion's last show of the calendar year. The 2009 edition of the show was ROH's first internet pay-per-view, and the first ROH show to be broadcast live. The 2010 edition and the 2011 edition were also broadcast live via the internet. Between 2006 and 2014, every event was held at either the Grand Ballroom or the Hammerstein Ballroom of the Manhattan Center in New York City. Final Battle has since become Ring of Honor's premiere flagship event, similar to WWE's WrestleMania. Ring Of Honor
Ring of Honor (ROH) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. The promotion was founded by Rob Feinstein on February 23, 2002, and was operated by Cary Silkin from 2004 until 2011; the promotion was subsequently sold to the Sinclair Broadcast Group, and then sold to Tony Khan. Throughout the 2010s, ROH was considered the third largest wrestling promotion in the United States, behind WWE and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, initially operating on an internet distribution model. Nelson Erazo (born March 20, 1977) better known by the ring name Homicide, is a retired American Professional wrestling, professional wrestler best known for his tenures in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and Ring Of Honor (ROH). Final Battle 2006 was the 5th Final Battle major professional wrestling event produced by Ring of Honor (ROH). It took place on December 23, 2006 from the Manhattan Center in New York City. It was the fourth annual event in the Final Battle chronology, with the first taking place in 2002. The shows main event featured New York’s own Homicide challenge Bryan Danielson for the ROH World Championship, with Homicide vowing to leave ROH forever if he failed to win the title.
