International Film Festival Bratislava
The Bratislava International Film Festival (also known as Bratislava IFF) is an international film festival established in 1999 and held annually in Bratislava, Slovakia. Apart from the international competition programme, it also regularly features renowned authors' film retrospectives, a European film program, independent film programmes and various theme programmes. Art Film Fest
Art Film Fest, previously known as Artfilm, is an annual international film festival founded in Trenčianske Teplice, Slovakia in 1993, shortly after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. The first event was held on 14 June 1993, under the auspices of UNESCO. It is the longest continuously running international film festival in the country. In 2016, 23 years into its history, the festival was relocated to Košice, Slovakia's second largest city. The event traditionally takes place from 14 to 22 June and includes autograph signings, discussions, musical performances, and workshops. History Artfilm was created by film director Petr Hledík, who has been the festival's longtime artistic director. According to Hledík, at the beginning of the 1990s, the Koliba film studios in Bratislava were in decline, funding for Slovak cinematography was rapidly dwindling, and films almost stopped being made. 1993 The first festival was held on 14 June 1993 in the spa town of Trenčianske Tepli ...

International Film Festival Cinematik
International Film Festival Cinematik (IFFC) is an international film festival in Piešťany, Slovakia, annually held during second week of September. The 14th year was held from 10 to 15 September 2019. Festival is focusing primarily on European and Slovak cinematography. The organizers of the festival are non-governmental organization MFF Piešťany, o.z., backed by the City of Piešťany and Slovak Health Spa Piešťany. The festival takes place at seven locations: the House of Arts, Fontana cinema, Cinema club, the music pavilion, Kursalon, on Spa island by Bažant cinema and bar Žiwell. Festival board Honorary director of the festival since its establishment is Slovak actress Božidara Turzonovová. Executive director is Tomáš Klenovský and Slovak director Vladimír Štric is artistic director.
