Film and Music Entertainment (F&ME, FAME) is a British film production company based in Dublin, Ireland. The company was founded by Mike Downey and Sam Taylor in 2000, then headquartered in London, and has since produced many films, including '' Guy X'' and '' Deathwatch''. History Launched in 2000 as part of a public offering on the Frankfurt Neuer Markt, Film and Music Entertainment was the subject of a management buy-out by its principals Sam Taylor and Mike Downey in 2003, and as an independent entity has kept to its annual production targets of producing 2 inhouse films and between 4 and 6 co-productions a year in the £1.5 - £5 million budget range. The first decade of F&ME’s existence saw it entering into production on circa 50 international co-productions with a total budget of EUR 120 million involving 102 production companies from all over Europe. ''Murk'' ( da, Mørke) / () is a 2005 Danish horror and psychological thriller film. The film was directed by Jannik Johansen, who wrote the screenplay along with Anders Thomas Jensen. The film stars Nikolaj Lie Kaas and Nicolas Bro. Plot Julie, a wheelchair-user, is said to have committed suicide on her wedding night. Her brother Jacob, who is a journalist, follows her ex-fiance to the Danish village of Mørke. Upon meeting him, Jacob discovers that he is going to marry another handicapped woman. Upon these revelations, Jacob investigates whether Julie's ex-fiance is murdering women who are handicapped. Cast Release The film was screened at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on 19 August 2005 and on 23 August 2005 at the Copenhagen International Film Festival. ''The Incredible Journey'' (1961), by Scottish author Sheila Burnford, is a children's book first published by Hodder & Stoughton, which tells the story of three pets as they travel through the Canadian wilderness searching for their beloved masters. It depicts the suffering and stress of an arduous journey, together with the unwavering loyalty and courage of the three animals. The story is set in the northwestern Ontario, northwestern part of Ontario, which has many lakes, rivers, and widely dispersed small farms and towns. It is usually considered a children's book, although Burnford has stated that she did not write it specifically for children.
