Fikru Teferra Lemessa ( am, ፍቅሩ ተፈራ ለሜሳ; born 24 January 1986) is an Ethiopian professional footballer who last played as a forward for Mohammedan SC. Club career Teferra moved to the Czech First League club FK Mladá Boleslav on a three-year deal to stay in the Boleslav club, but was released from the contract before the end of his first season with the club. He signed a contract with ABSA Premiership outfit SuperSport United in 2010, but was released in 2011. On 12 October 2014, Teferra made history by scoring the first goal in the Indian Super League, a 28th-minute shot from the edge of the penalty box in a 3–0 victory for Atlético de Kolkata over Mumbai City FC. Adama ( Oromo: ' or ', Amharic: አዳማ), formerly Nazreth ( am, ናዝሬት), is a city in the central Oromia Region of Ethiopia. The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and their commercial partners Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), it is officially known as Hero Indian Super League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp. The league currently comprises 11 clubs. Each season of the tournament generally runs from October to March. The Czech First League, known as the Fortuna liga for sponsorship reasons, is a Czech professional league for football clubs.
