Figure Skating At The 2024 Winter Youth Olympics – Team Event
The team event figure skating competition of the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics will be held at the Gangneung Ice Arena on 1 February 2024. The five teams were composed of the countries' skaters for the other figure skating events, each performing a free program or free dance. This will be the first time the Figure skating at the Winter Youth Olympics#Mixed NOC team medalists, team event at the Winter Youth Olympics will not have the mixed NOC teams. Teams The entries were published by the International Skating Union on January 25, 2024. Results Note: Points between brackets ("[]") are placement points who are not counted.As only the United States and Canada could choose which results would be discarded from the dispute. Kim Hyun-gyeom
Kim Hyun-gyeom (; born June 27, 2006) is a South Korean figure skater. He is the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic champion in both the men's and team events, the 2023–24 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist, a two-time ISU Junior Grand Prix medalist, the 2023 South Korean silver medalist, and the 2020 South Korean Junior bronze medalist. Personal life Kim was born on June 27, 2006, in Seoul, South Korea. Before he began figure skating, Kim played soccer. Kim can speak some Japanese as a result of his mother being fluent in the language. He also speaks a bit of English. He looks up to training mate, Cha Jun-hwan, citing him as an inspiration. Career Early career As an intermediate novice skater, Kim competed at 2018 Asian Open Trophy, where he won the gold medal. The Mixed-NOCs participation at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics, mixed NOC team figure skating competition of the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics was held at the Lausanne Skating Arena on 15 January 2020. The eight teams were composed of one men's single skater, one ladies' single skater, one pair, and one ice dancing duo, each performing a free program or free dance. Teams The skaters who took part the team trophy was determined by draw. Results In the case of a winner of the competition, the tie breaking procedure was used, taking into consideration the two best places of the concerned teams in different categories. The highest total points from the two best places prevailed and the respective placings was recorded accordingly. In the case of a 4th place the ties persisted. Gao Shiqi (, 26 October 1645 – 1703) was a Han Chinese politician, scholar, and art collector of the Qing Dynasty. Career Gao was born in Guan in Zhili province in 1631 and raised in Hangzhou. Although poor, he developed a great talent for writing and calligraphy at an early age. In search of better prospects he ventured north when he was 19 and eventually moved to Beijing in 1665. He enrolled in the Imperial Academy and became a clerk in the Hanlin Academy after winning a competitive examination in 1671. In 1675, he gained a clerkship in the Supervisorate of Imperial Instruction. Although Gao did not possess a coveted '' jinshi'' degree, his literary talents were enough to propel his career forward.
