FiftyFifty Brewing Company
FiftyFifty Brewing Co. is a brewpub in Truckee, California. Known for their barrel-aged beers, their production surpassed one thousand barrels of aged beer along with a further volume of fresh beer in 2012. Beer Totality Imperial Stout is an imperial stout produced regularly by the company. Yearly, some of this beer is set down in a variety of barrels for six months of aging to make Eclipse Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. Barrels include those previously used for aging brandy, Buffalo Trace Whiskey, and Four Roses Single Barrel among others; there are eleven barrel-types used in all. Bottles are then sold direct from the brewery on futures contract several months before the year's release. Bottles not sold in futures are sent out for distribution or served on premises. Truckee, California
Truckee is an incorporated town in Nevada County, California, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 16,180, reflecting an increase of 2,316 from the 13,864 counted in the 2000 Census and having the 316th highest population in California and 2114th in the United States. Name Truckee's existence began in 1863 as Gray's Station, named for Joseph Gray's Roadhouse on the trans-Sierra wagon road. A blacksmith named Samuel S. Coburn was there almost from the beginning, and by 1866 the area was known as Coburn's Station. Great American Beer Festival
The Great American Beer Festival (GABF) is an annual beer festival hosted by the Brewers Association, held in Denver, Colorado. Typically held in late September or early October, the event is currently held at Denver's Colorado Convention Center. Established in 1982, it is the largest ticketed beer festival in the U.S. and one of the largest in the world.
