Fifth Settlement
The Fifth Settlement ( ar, التجمع الخامس, literally means "the Fifth Gathering", but the official English name is "the Fifth Settlement"; commonly shortened to: ' ) is one of the districts of New Cairo, Egypt. It is one of the most affluent districts of the city. It consists of several private neighborhoods, including Gharb El Golf, El Shouifat, Diplomats, El Narges, North investors, South investor, etc... The main street is ''Share‘ El Tes‘een'' or ''90 St.'', it serves as the central axis of the city of New Cairo. New Cairo
New Cairo ( ar, القاهرة الجديدة ' is an Egyptian city covering an area of about on the southeastern edge of Cairo Governorate, 25 kilometres (15 mi) from Maadi. The Ministry of Interior of Egypt is a part of the Cabinet of Egypt. It is responsible for law enforcement in Egypt. The Ministry of Interior directs the Central Security Forces, around 410,000 in 2012; the National Police, around 500,000; and the Egyptian Homeland security, around 200,000 strong. The Egyptian Border Guard Corps were organised in border guard regiments totaling approximately 25,000 members. They are a lightly armed paramilitary force, mostly Bedouins, responsible for border surveillance, general peacekeeping, drug interdiction, and prevention of smuggling. Habib El-Adly
Habib Ibrahim El-Adly ( ar, حبيب إبراهيم العادلي, ; born 1 March 1938) is a former Egyptian politician. He served as interior minister of Egypt from November 1997 to January 2011. He was the longest serving interior minister under President Hosni Mubarak. Following the 2011 Egyptian revolution, Adly was convicted of corruption and conspiring to kill protestors and was sentenced to life in prison. This conviction was later dropped. Early life and education El-Adly was born in 1938. He graduated from the police academy in 1959. Career In 1965, Adly joined the State Security Investigations Service. After working at various investigation departments, he was employed at the foreign ministry from 1982 to 1984. El Rehab ( ar, مدينة الرحاب , literal meaning: "City of Spaciousness") is a district of New Cairo and a part of Greater Cairo, in the Cairo Governorate, Egypt. El Shorouk is one of Third Generation cities, established by Prime Minister decision Number 420, in 1995.
