Fidel Odreman
Fidel Odreman (9 May 1937 – 24 May 2017) was a Venezuelan boxer. He competed in the men's middleweight event at the 1960 Summer Olympics. At the 1960 Summer Olympics, he lost to Eddie Crook Jr. Edward "Eddie" Crook Jr. (April 19, 1929 – July 25, 2005) won a gold medal for the United States as a boxing teammate of Muhammad Ali in the 1960 Summer Olympics. Upata () is a Venezuelan city inside the bulk of Guayana at the north of the Bolívar State. It is the capital and most important town of Piar Municipality. It is located between the basins of the rivers Orinoco and Cuyuní. The name of Upata is an indigenous word, probably of the Kamaracoto ethnic group, means in Spanish “Rose of the mountain” name of an Indian chief's daughter.
