Wizard (fantasy)
A magician, also known as an enchanter/enchantress, mage, magic-user, archmage, sorcerer/sorceress, spell-caster, warlock, witch, or wizard, is someone who uses or practices magic derived from supernatural, occult, or arcane sources. Magicians are common figures in works of fantasy, such as fantasy literature and role-playing games, and enjoy a rich history in mythology, legends, fiction, and folklore. Character archetypes In medieval chivalric romance, the wizard often appears as a wise old man and acts as a mentor, with Merlin from the ''King Arthur'' stories being a prime example. Djimon Gaston Hounsou (; ; born April 24, 1964) is a Beninese-American actor and model. He began his career appearing in music videos. Merlin's Apprentice
''Merlin's Apprentice'' is a 2006 miniseries. It is a sequel to the 1998 television miniseries ''Merlin'' with Sam Neill and Miranda Richardson reprising their roles as Merlin and the Lady of the Lake, albeit slightly different versions of their characters. While being vaguely based on Arthurian legend, its plot is set after the death of King Arthur and completely different from the traditional legends. Sir Ben Kingsley (born Krishna Pandit Bhanji; 31 December 1943) is an English actor.
