Ffion Morgan
Ffion Alys Morgan (born 11 May 2000) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a defender for Women's Super League club Bristol City and the Wales national team. She began her career with Cardiff City Ladies, before joining Coventry United in 2019. She made her international debut for Wales in 2017. Early life Born in Wales, Morgan attended Ysgol Tre-Gib in Llandeilo as a teenager. Club career Morgan began playing football at the age of four for local youth side Saron Juniors. At the age of 11, she joined Ammanford Girls. Morgan later signed for Cardiff City but missed the 2017–18 campaign after suffering a serious anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury while on international duty for Wales under-19s. The 2021–22 FA Women's Championship is the fourth season of the rebranded FA Women's Championship, the second tier of women's football in England. It was renamed from the FA WSL 2 which was founded in 2014. Teams Twelve teams will compete in the Championship for the 2021–22 season, an increase of one team from the previous season. The FA Women's National League, formerly WFA National League and FA Women's Premier League (WPL), is a group of six football divisions run by the English Football Association. Founded in 1991 by the Women's Football Association, the League included England's top division from 1991 to 2010.
