Critical reception At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average score out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, ''Fever Dream'' received an average score of 74% based on 9 reviews, indicating "generally favorable reviews". Alias (musician)
Brendon Whitney (April 5, 1976 – March 30, 2018), better known by his stage name Alias, was a producer and rapper from Hollis, Maine. He was a co-founder of the indie hip hop record label Anticon. History Alias originally performed as a rapper with Sole in the group Live Poets. He also produced his own songs, but would still rap over another producer's beats. He moved to California in 1999 to start the label Anticon, as well as to focus on his music. Later on, as Alias began working with Anticon, he produced tracks for the emcees on the label. In 2002, Alias released his first solo album ''The Other Side of the Looking Glass''. He produced and rapped on the album. After that, Alias moved away from rapping to focus solely on production. ''Pitchfork'' (formerly ''Pitchfork Media'') is an American online music publication (currently owned by Condé Nast) that was launched in 1995 by writer Ryan Schreiber as an independent music blog. Schreiber started Pitchfork while working at a record store in suburban Minneapolis, and the website earned a reputation for its extensive coverage of indie rock music. It has since expanded and covers all kinds of music, including pop. Pitchfork was sold to Condé Nast in 2015, although Schreiber remained its editor-in-chief until he left the website in 2019. Kevin Marques Moo (born 1974), better known by his stage name Daddy Kev, is an American DJ, Grammy Award-winning audio engineer, record producer and executive from Los Angeles, California. He is the owner of Alpha Pup Records and the founder of Low End Theory. As an audio engineer, Daddy Kev has mixed and mastered albums by Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Kamasi Washington, and Leon Bridges. Dax Pierson (born 1970) is an American musician from Oakland, California. He has been a member of Subtle and 13 & God. Life and career Dax Pierson worked at Amoeba Music in Berkeley, California for 10 years. He has been a member of Subtle and 13 & God. In 2005, he was seriously injured and left paralyzed from the chest down when the Subtle tour van hit a patch of black ice in Iowa. His musician friends and promoters subsequently organized a series of tribute shows and benefit albums. In 2009, he sued Ford Motor Company for faulty design mechanics, arguing that the defective seat contributed to his life-threatening injuries. A federal court jury awarded him $18.3 million ($12.3 million for medical expenses and lost earnings and $6 million for pain and suffering). Chris Greer, better known by his stage name DJ Mayonnaise, is an alternative hip hop producer and DJ from Portland, Maine. He has released two albums on Anticon. History DJ Mayonnaise released his debut album '' 55 Stories'' on Anticon in 1999. From 1999 to 2003, he produced several tracks for underground hip hop artists such as Deep Puddle Dynamics and Sage Francis. He was also a member of So-Called Artists along with Sole and Alias.
