Fernando Valgañón
Fernando Valgañón Esnal (1966-2018) was a Spanish actor, teacher and theatre director. Life and career Fernando Valgañón was born in Sestao, Spain. He studied at Asti Leku College. When he was young he was a member (as a dancer) of the Salleko Dance Group of Sestao. He graduated in hispanic philology from the University of the Basque Country. He graduated in drama from the Basauri Theatre School. Later he got a licenciate degree in audiovisual communication in the University of the Basque Country and a bachelor's in business also in the University of the Basque Country. As an actor, he acted in films such as ''Menos que cero'' (1996) and ''Suerte'' (1997). Sestao is a town and municipality of 27,296 inhabitants located in the province of Biscay, in the autonomous community of Basque Country, northern Spain. The Salleko Dance Group (in Basque language, Basque, ''Salleko Dantza Taldea''; in Spanish language, Spanish, ''Grupo de Danzas Salleko'') is a Basque cultural association founded in 1962, whose objective is the institutionalization and promotion of Basque dance, a relevant aspect of Basque culture. History Establishment The Basque dance and music group was founded in 1962 by Brother Basilio, of the De La Salle Brothers, as a school group.
