Fernando González (footballer, Born 1988)
Fernando Javier González (born 25 September 1988) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left-back for San Martín Tucumán. Career Belgrano were González's opening senior team. After making his professional debut on 13 March 2009 against Chacarita Juniors, González made sixteen appearances in three Primera B Nacional seasons on the way to helping the club win promotion to the Primera División in 2010–11. He featured just once in the top-flight, before returning to tier two with Sarmiento in June 2012. He played thirty-eight times for them. Short stints with San Martín, as he won promotion, Temperley and Olimpo followed, with the latter two coming in the Primera División. Primera B Nacional's Douglas Haig signed González in 2016; where he'd suffer relegation. González moved across to the other third division in 2017, agreeing terms with Estudiantes. Argentine Football League System
The Argentine football league system include tournaments organised by the Argentine Football Association. Clubs affiliated to the body compete in the tournaments, which are split into categories or divisions. Rules establish a system of promotion and relegation, a process where teams are transferred between two divisions based on their performance for the completed season. The best-ranked team or teams in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team or teams in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. The 2016 Argentine Primera División - Copa Axion Energy was the 126th season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. The season began on February 5 and ended on May 29. Thirty teams competed in the league, twenty eight returning from the 2015 and two promoted from the 2015 Primera B Nacional (Atlético Tucumán and Patronato). Two teams ( Nueva Chicago and Crucero del Norte) were relegated to the Primera B Nacional Championship in the previous tournament.
