Fernando Cáceres
Fernando Gabriel Cáceres (born 7 February 1969) is an Argentine retired professional association football, footballer who played as a central defender. He played for several clubs in the Argentine Primera División, Primera División and La Liga during his professional career, spending 11 years in the latter competition and appearing in 340 games. Cáceres represented Argentina national football team, Argentina at the 1994 FIFA World Cup, 1994 World Cup and two Copa América tournaments. Club career Born in San Isidro, Buenos Aires, Cáceres began playing professional football at Argentinos Juniors. San Isidro, Buenos Aires
San Isidro is a city in Greater Buenos Aires. It is located 27.9 km from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA). It ranks as the province's most affluent neighborhood. The 2003–04 UEFA Champions League was the 12th season of UEFA's premier European club football tournament, the UEFA Champions League, since its rebranding from the European Cup in 1992, and the 49th tournament overall. UEFA Cup Winners' Cup
The UEFA Cup Winners' Cup was a European football club competition contested annually by the winners of domestic cup competitions. The cup was, chronologically, the second seasonal inter-European club competition organised by UEFA. The tournament ran for 39 seasons, with the final edition held in 1998–99, after which it was discontinued. The first tournament was held in 1960–61, but it was organised by the Mitropa Cup's Organising Committee and not recognised by the governing body of European football until 1963, when it was accepted as a UEFA competition on the initiative of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC).
