Fernando Bustos
Fernando Bustos Castañeda (1 August 1944 – 23 September 1979) was a Mexican footballer who competed in the 1968 Summer Olympics. Death Bustos died in a car accident on the road to Querétaro in 1979, aged just 35. Legacy Bustos was inducted into ''Salón de la Fama del futbol'' in Pachuca on November 13, 2018. Tepeji Del Río
Tepeji (officially: Tepeji del Río de Ocampo) is one of the 84 municipalities of Hidalgo, in central-eastern Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 393.4 km². CONCACAF Championship
The CONCACAF Championship was an association football tournament that took place between 1963 and 1989. The competition is sometimes referred to as CONCACAF Campeonato de Naciones. The first Championship took place in 1963 and was CONCACAF's first organized tournament for national teams. The competition retained its tournament format and was played on a biennial basis for a decade. In 1973 the tournament became the qualifying tournament for the FIFA World Cup and was played on a quadrennial basis. The CONCACAF trophy was given to the team that ranked highest in the qualifying group. In 1985 and 1989, there was no host nation for the competition. The competition was discontinued in 1991 in favor of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Campeonísimo
Campeonísimo was the title given to exceptional champions in Mexican football from 1907 to 1996, who won both the Copa MX and the League title on the same year. History In the early Mexican championships, the clubs used to play a yearly tournament. The professional era began in Mexico in 1944, but there was a tournament that had been played since the early 1900s, the Copa Mexico, also known as the Tower Cup. A club that won both the Copa Mexico and the League title would then be known as campeonísimos. There are only five clubs who achieved this. Club León was the first to obtain this prestigious title in 1949. Guadalajara obtained theirs in 1957 Cruz Azul achieved this in the 1969–1970 championships. The Copa MX (formerly called Copa Tower Monterrey, Copa Eliminatoria, Copa México and Copa Corona (beer), Corona MX (for sponsorship reasons)) was a Mexican association football, football cup competition that was established in 1907 in association football, 1907. 1963–64 Mexican Segunda División Season
The 1963–64 Mexican Segunda División was the 14th season of the Mexican Segunda División. The season started on 29 June 1963 and concluded on 7 February 1964. It was won by Cruz Azul. For the following season, the Primera División had an expansion from 14 to 16 teams, for which a promotion playoff was played at the end of this season.
