Ferhunde Erkin
Ferhunde Erkin (née Ferhunde Remzi) (June 8, 1909 – July 11, 2007) was a Turkish pianist born in Istanbul. Ferhunde Remzi started her first lessons in Bandırma with her father Ali Remzi Yiğitgüden's guidance when her brother Necdet Remzi Atak started violin lessons. Ferhunde and Necdet later took lessons from several teachers in Istanbul, but mostly from Karl Berger. They gave their first recital in Galatasaray High School on March 20, 1920 when Istanbul was under occupation after the end of World War I. With the advice of a music teacher, Von Kleibiner, Ferhunde and Necdet applied and received the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation scholarship and went to Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig. They finished the three-year school in two years and graduated in 1930. Upon their return to Turkey both started as teachers at Musiki Muallim Mektebi (Music Teachers School) on April 7, 1931. Kamuran Gündemir
Kamuran Gündemir (1933 - February 4, 2006) was a Turkish pianist. Born in Ayvalık, he was influenced by his father, a tuba player in the local municipality band. At the age of three, he learned to read musical notes and began to play the accordion. Gündemir was discovered by Adnan Saygun, who advised him to attend a conservatory. He enrolled in the Ankara State Conservatory in 1949 and graduated in 1958. During his studies, he was a piano student of Ferhunde Erkin and studied composition under Necil Kazım Akses and Ulvi Cemal Erkin. Following his graduation, he was sent to Paris to study under Lazare Lévy at the Paris Conservatory. The Mongolian gazelle (''Procapra gutturosa''), or dzeren (russian: Дзерэн), is a medium-sized antelope native to the semiarid Central Asian steppes of Mongolia, as well as some parts of Siberia and China. The name ''dzeren'' is Russian misinterpretation of the Mongolian language name of ''zeer'' ( mn, Зээр) or Buryat zeeren ( Buryat: Зээрэн). Description In the summer, its coat is light brown with pinkish tones, becoming longer and paler during the winter.
