Ferhat Akbaş
Ferhat Akbaş (born April 12, 1986) is a Turkish volleyball coach and former volleyball player. He is tall. He is the head coach of Eczacıbaşı Dynavit. He also trained Japan women's national team and Turkey Women. He is a graduate of business administration from Kocaeli University. Career Player At first Akbaş wanted to become a basketball player, however as he missed the date of the qualification, found himself in volleyball. He played volleyball in Marmara College and Arçelik volleyball clubs. Ferhat Akbaş was a member of the Turkey men's national volleyball team. His career as a player did not last long as he chose to pursue a coaching career. Coach He began his technical staff career as a statistics coach at Galatasaray women's volleyball team in 2004, and continued until 2006. 2014 Women's European Volleyball League
The 2014 Women's European Volleyball League was the sixth edition of the annual Women's European Volleyball League, which featured women's national volleyball teams from eight European countries. Turkey defeated Germany 6–2 in the final, which was played over two legs, to capture their first title. Format This year saw no final four tournament. Instead the eight teams were split into two pools and played a round robin with playing three matchups at home and away, making a total of twelve games for each team. 2017–18 Divizia A1 (women's Volleyball)
The 2017–18 Divizia A1 season was the 68th season of the Divizia A1 (women's volleyball), Divizia A1, the highest professional volleyball league in Romania. CSM Volei Alba Blaj was the defending champion. At the end of the season, CSM București (women's volleyball), CSM București won their first title. 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship
The 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship was held in Ankara, Turkey, from 12 to 19 August 2015. This was the second edition of the tournament. Competition formula The competition format will see the 12 teams split into two pools of six teams playing in round robin format. The semifinals will feature the top two teams from each pool. Turkish Women's Volleyball Cup
The Turkish Women's Volleyball Cup ( tr, Türkiye Kadınlar Voleybol Türkiye Kupası), is a national cup for professional women's volleyball in Turkey, organized by the Turkish Volleyball Federation since the 1994-95 season. Between 2003 and 2008, the event was not held five consecutive seasons. The cup was sponsored in 2012-13 season by Teledünya, a digital cable TV and internet service owned by Türksat.
