Ferdous Wahid
Ferdous Wahid is a retired Bangladeshi pop singer and film director. He made his directorial debut with the Bangladeshi film '' Kusumpurer Golpo'' (The Story of Kusumpur). Career Wahid started his career in the 1970s. His son Habib Wahid became a pop singer of the country too. Some of his hit songs while starting his career were composed by Anis Z. Chowdhury, Lucky Akhand and Alam Khan. Wahid retired from music industry in 2020. His brother, Captain Mustafa Jaglul Wahid, was married to Anju Kapoor - the sister of Indian film producer Dhiraj Vinod Kapoor. Habib Wahid
Habib Wahid (born 15 October 1979) is a Bangladeshi composer and singer. He works on modern pop music, EDM and a fusion of traditional Bengali folk music with contemporary techno and urban beats. His music is mainly influenced by British Bangladeshis, while he was living in the UK as a student. He is the son of the 1970s singer Ferdous Wahid. He has also produced music in Indian Bengali movies. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Music Director for the film '' Projapoti'' (2011). Early life Habib Wahid was born and brought up in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His ancestral home is in Kusumpur in Srinagar of Munshiganj (Bikrampur).He attended South Breeze School in Dhanmondi. Alam Khan (composer)
Alam Khan (22 October 1943 – 8 July 2022) was a Bangladeshi composer and music director. He was awarded Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Music Director five times for the films ''Boro Bhalo Lok Chhilo'' (2005), ''Teen Kanya'' (2006), ''Surrender'' (2007), ''Dinkal'' (2008) and ''Ibadat'' (2009). He also won Best Music Composer Award for the films ''Bagher Thaba'' (2005) and ''Ki Jadu Korila'' (2008). As of 2008, Khan composed around 2000 songs and provided music direction to around 300 films.
