Feral Audio
Feral Audio was an independent podcast network and production company, founded in 2012 as a podcasting collective by Dustin Marshall after Dustin left Earwolf. Feral launched from Executive Producer's Shadi Petosky's apartment in Franklin Village to be near the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Shadi, through her studio PUNY Entertainment, financed Feral and PUNY artists created Feral's brand identity, website, and cover art for Feral's first slate of podcasts. In 2013 Feral moved to Starburns Industries in Burbank, CA. Feral Audio LLC was formed in January 2016 as a partnership between Dustin Marshall, Jason Smith, Dan Harmon, and Starburns Industries. Feral Audio billed itself as a "Fiercely Independent Podcast Network", offering its shows' creators 100% ownership and creative control over their content. San Diego Comic-Con International is a comic book convention and nonprofit multi-genre entertainment event held annually in San Diego, California since 1970. Upright Citizens Brigade
The Upright Citizens Brigade is an improvisational and sketch comedy group that emerged from Chicago's ImprovOlympic in 1990. The original incarnation of the group consisted of Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts, Matt Walsh, Adam McKay, Rick Roman, Horatio Sanz and Drew Franklin. Shadi Petosky
Shadi Petosky is a television show runner. She is best known for her work on ''Danger & Eggs'' and ''The Sandman'' (2022 TV series). Early life Petosky was born in Kalispell, Montana, growing up in a rural area. Petosky cites Ani DiFranco and folk music in general as early positive influences in her life. As she noted years later, she spent time in Gwinn, Michigan, with her family living on U.S. Air Force bases. Later describing herself as "total AV club / film / theater kid," who read independent comic books in high school, and "devouring" many videos at the video store, she noted that she has been a "victim of violence" in that early part of her life, and onward because she was "a loud, queer kid in a rural area." Earwolf is an American comedy podcasting network founded by Scott Aukerman and Jeff Ullrich in August 2010. In 2011, they announced a partnership with Funny Or Die. ''Yacht Rock'' is an online video series following the fictionalized lives and careers of American soft rock stars of the late 1970s and early 1980s. The series debuted on Channel 101 at the June 26, 2005 screening. It placed in the top five at subsequent screenings until the June 25, 2006 screening, where it placed seventh and was canceled. The show remained a popular download on Channel 101, convincing the creators to make two additional episodes independently.
