Fernando Vázquez Rodríguez most known as Fer Vázquez (born 15 May 1994) is an Uruguayan singer, songwriter and television personality, known for being the vocalist of the cumbia pop band ''Rombai'' since 2014. Career In 2016 he participated in the reality show ''Bailando por un Sueño'', in its 11th edition. That same year he participated acting in the documentary film ''Marama - Rombai - El viaje'', personifying himself. On February 26, 2017, he performed as vocalist of Rombai at the Quinta Vergara Amphitheater, participating for the first time in the Viña del Mar International Song Festival. Márama
Márama (stylized as Marama) is an Uruguayan band formed in 2014 by Fer Vázquez of Rombai. The group is composed of Agustín Casanova, Pablo Arnoletti, Agustín Duarte, Matías Besson, Lautaro Moreno and Martín López. Former members Alejandro Vázquez, Martín Zina, Danny Muller, Matias Bernaola and Marcos Ifrán departed from the group. In 2015, the band released their first studio album titled ''Todo Comenzó Bailando'', which reached number one in Argentina and Uruguay. It was certified Gold and 2× Platinum in these countries respectively. In June 2016, its biographical documentary film titled '' Marama & Rombai - El Viaje'' was released.
