Fenwick High School is a selective private Catholic college preparatory school located in Oak Park, a town in Cook County, Illinois that is bordered by Chicago on the north, east, River Forest and Forest Park on the West, and Cicero and Berwyn on the south. Fenwick was founded in 1929 as part of the Province of St. Albert the Great (Dominican Friars). It is the only school directly operated and staffed by the Catholic Order of Dominican friars in the United States. It is named in honor of Cincinnati Bishop Edward D. Fenwick. History Fenwick High School was founded as an all-boys college preparatory high school in 1929 by the Catholic Order of Dominican Fathers and Brothers of the Province of St. Joseph. Bishop Fenwick High School is a parochial high school in Franklin, Ohio, USA. History The school was opened August 21, 1952 and named in honor of Edward Dominic Fenwick, a Dominican friar and first Roman Catholic Bishop of Cincinnati. The first principal was Rev. Julian Krusling. Due to outgrowing the original site, the school moved on November 20, 1962 to Manchester Road in Middletown. The growth continued and in September 2004 the school moved to a new campus, on State Road 122 on the east side of Middletown. Academics The curriculum is accredited by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association. Bishop Fenwick High School (better known simply as "Fenwick") is a private Roman Catholic high school in Peabody, Massachusetts. While located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, the school is operated independently and with the blessing of the Archdiocese. Students who attend Bishop Fenwick come from over 40 towns and communities in New England, primarily those closest to the campus such as Saugus, Salem, Peabody, Beverly, Marblehead, and Danvers, Massachusetts.
