Bob Fenton
William Robert Fenton (9 October 1923 – 10 January 2013), known as Bob Fenton, was a New Zealand politician of the National Party. Biography Fenton was born on 9 October 1923 at Napier, and was educated at Hastings High School. He served in World War II in the New Zealand Army and in the Royal New Zealand Air Force. In 1951, he married Dorothy Alice Ferrier, and the couple went on to have five children. Fenton was a regional governor of the New Zealand chapter of Jaycees in 1960, and a world governor of Junior Chamber International. Fenton was strongly opposed to political interference in sport and held strong views on the rugby matches between South Africa and New Zealand. Paul Fenton (musician)
Paul Fenton (born 4 July 1946 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England) is an English drummer, best known for his work with T. Rex. After leaving Christie, he started playing drums for T. Rex in 1973, after being recommended to Marc Bolan by his producer Tony Visconti. He also toured briefly with Marc Bolan & T. Rex in 1974, and played additional drums with Davy Lutton on the songs "Solid Baby", "Funky London Childhood", and "Visions Of Domino". Fenton also played in Carmen, a progressive rock band with a flamenco focus. The band released three albums between 1973 and 1975. Fenton along with Mickey Finn, formed a T. Rex tribute band in 1997, named Mickey Finn's T-Rex. After the death of Finn in 2003, Fenton continued to play drums for the band, which now performs named more simply as T-Rex. Carl Fenton was a pseudonym of Walter G. Haenschen, American bandleader, composer, and radio musician. Name origin The Carl Fenton Orchestra (AKA "Carl Fenton’s Orchestra") was a title given to Brunswick Records studio bands through the 1920s. The name was invented by Brunswick music director Walter Gustave "Gus" Haenschen shortly after taking the position for their brand-new American division. Later, the name was taken by violinist Ruby (Rubin) Greenberg. Thomas Trail Fenton (born 8 April 1930) is a former television correspondent who retired in 2004 after a 34-year career with CBS News. Fenton graduated from Dartmouth College in 1952 with a B.A. in English and was an officer in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1961, serving on destroyers in the Atlantic and Mediterranean. His Navy service placed him in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in 1952, and in the Mediterranean Sea during the 1958 Lebanon Crisis. "I, Mudd" is the eighth episode of the second season of the American science fiction television series ''Star Trek''. Written by Stephen Kandel (based on a story by Gene Roddenberry) and directed by Marc Daniels, it was first broadcast on November 3, 1967.
