Felix Partz
Ronald Gabe (1945 in Winnipeg, Manitoba – 1994) publicly known as Felix Partz, was a Canadians, Canadian artist and cofounder of the artistic collective General Idea with Jorge Zontal and AA Bronson. Partz tended toward the iconoclastic. While still at the University of Manitoba School of Art in Winnipeg he made photocopies of famous artworks for his print-making class. At the time of his death he had just finished work on a series of AIDS-related General Idea projects that incorporated mutated simulations of works by Piet Mondrian and Marcel Duchamp. Winnipeg () is the capital and largest city of the province of Manitoba in Canada. The Teaches Of Peaches
''The Teaches of Peaches'' is the second studio album by Canadian recording artist Merrill Nisker, and her first under the stage name Peaches. It was released on September 5, 2000 by Kitty-Yo. Her roommate Feist contributed vocals for the album. In 2002, XL Recordings re-released the album and as well put out an "Expanded Edition" featuring a bonus disc. Writing and development After creating a six-track " Lovertits" EP, Peaches moved to Berlin, Germany. While visiting her old friend Jason Beck, who was enjoying modest European success as Chilly Gonzales in Berlin, Peaches landed a one-night gig. On the merits of that show alone, Berlin's Kitty-Yo label signed her on the spot. The label offered her the chance to record ''The Teaches of Peaches'' back home in Toronto. Merrill Nisker (born 11 November 1966), better known by her stage name Peaches, is a Canadian electroclash musician and producer. Born in Ontario, Peaches began her musical career in the 1990s as part of a folk trio, Mermaid Cafe. In 1995, she established a rock band, the Shit. That year she also released her first solo album, ''Fancypants Hoodlum''. After moving to Berlin, Germany, she was signed to the Kitty-Yo label and released her second album, '' The Teaches of Peaches'' (2000).
